Galapagos Islands, Ecuador (It really was cold, but why the hat?)
4000 Islands, Laos
Antigua, Guatemala
 Koh Lanta, Thailand
Santa Marta, Colombia
Near the Golden Triangle, Thailand
Luang Prabang, Laos
Seoul, South Korea (Those are indeed eyebrows drawn onto his face. There is a story behind this, and I’ll write about it one day)
Lovina, Indonesia
Granada, Nicaragua
I was all set to do something completely different for this instalment of Around the World: beer, books, hot dogs (all my favourites in life) but I realized I still had a lot of photo of dogs, and dogs always win.
This post is also in honour of the fact that I’m going to apply to become a dogsitter/dogwalker in London in the upcoming weeks. Laugh if you will, but I can’t think of a better way to be paid for an afternoon. Besides, freelance writer/dogwalker totally sets me up as the quirky girl in a romantic comedy, right? I mean, I already play the ukulele, wear flowers in my hair, collect records, and own a freaking typewriter. All I need is a “song that will change your life”** ready to play on my iPhone and I’m the perfect cliche.*
*Yes, I’m rolling my eyes right now.
**The song that will change your life is this one.

PUPPIES! It’s so weird when people draw eyebrows on their dogs, but some of the workers at the farm I was staying at in Thailand would draw a different style of eyebrows on our farm dog’s face every day…and we would all bust up laughing when she came running out to greet us. But, I mean, laughing guiltily!
PS can I mention again how much I love this new layout? Because it’s ace. Ace!!
Hah, that is kind of the best. I know, I shouldn’t laugh…but DOGS. Dogs with EYEBROWS. Hilarious.
And thank you re: the layout! There are still a lot of kinks to be worked out and I am pretty sure I have to go back and reformat all of my old posts, but my goal is to finish it before TBEX. Yes, copious bottles of wine will be consumed in the process.
Okay the dog with the eyebrows I seriously enjoyed! Great post 🙂 x
Yeah, he’s so cute!
eyebrow dog made it to your blog! finally his story will be told. (notice that everyone loves him already!) also all the other dogs are cute, too 🙂
Yes! I still have the hilarious video. He needs his own post.
What a lovely collection! I love the last picture in Nicaragua – the colours are wonderful!
Aw, thank you Molly! I’m glad you like the photos.
