I’ve been in the Philippines for five days now, mostly on the island of Boracay. It is touristy but beautiful; white sands and palm trees abound. I spend my days eating mangosteens on the beach and trying to decide where to go for dinner. Yesterday a group of travellers and I took a five hour boat ride around the islands, stopping to snorkel and to snack on pork and steamed prawns.
I am sunburnt, I am bug-bitten, I am hungover and tired, but I am happy. On to Palawan next.
