Havana, Cuba
I’m back from a week that was nothing short of amazing. Havana has quickly become one of my favourite cities, and I’m already imagining visiting again. We laughed and we ate, we smoked Cohiba cigarillos and drank copious amounts of espresso. We learned how cigars are made and saw one of the best collections of Cuban art in the world. We downed mojitos and Ron Collins and Habana Especials. We rode around in classic American cars, we made friends with so many Cuban people we encountered, we bought artwork and necklaces made of beans. We wore bright colours every day, we smiled from morning ’til night.
More (much more) to come.

I can’t wait to hear & see more of your Cuban trip honey, I’m going there myself whilst in Central America so it’ll be good to get a taste & some recommendations xxx
This post literally brought tears to my eyes. I miss La Habana sooooo much. You look gorgeous in that last shot.
Ali – I can’t wait to tell you about it! You will absolutely love it. I really hope we can meet up while we are both in Central America; I’ll be living in Guatemala for most of May and June! xx
Andi – Thank you so much! I would love to share stories of Havana sometime. xo
Ah, Cuba. Cubans are some of the most lovely and genuine people I’ve come across in my travels. You’re so lucky to be able to go there without the hassle. Great pics so far, looking to seeing more and hearing your stories!
I agree – the Cuban people we met were all so wonderful!
I absolutely love the photo of you in the bright dress by the bright wall!!
Thanks, Jessie!! That’s my new favourite dress…
Cuba is amazing!! Glad you had fun 🙂
Thanks, Christine!
the last photo of you is so pretty!
we were really contemplating going to cuba recently but ended up going to ny instead. i’ve heard that the food is awful and there are cockroaches everywhere… any truth to this? it definitely looks picturesque.
Mina – First of all, thank you! Secondly, to address your question, I cannot speak for any of the resorts or beaches, only for Havana. That being said, in my opinion, I really loved the food (but I tend to love all food everywhere) and I didn’t see one bug anywhere. In fact, I found Havana to be very clean and full of great little restaurants. I would definitely recommend it!
