Blue is the colour of my eyes, of my dream car, of open skies and open waters, of cotton candy at the fair, of fresh berries and fresh ink, of forget-me-nots, of the velvet that she wore, of ribbons and toothpaste, of sad days and rainy days. For all that blue is, and for all the things I love that are blue, and for all the times blue pops up in my photographs, it has never been one of my favourite colours. Instead, I am always drawn to purple, red, or orange.
Is there a colour that you love to photograph or that you are always drawn to?

Great photos. I always seem to be drawn to reds/oranges, but for me also, it’s not my favorite color.
I love blue as well. The pic you took in Japan is my fave!
Is the man in the second picture a dentist? Interesting photo. I like your Varna photo a lot! I think I’m drawn to taking photos with warm, orange, afternoon light.
My god this was a gorgeous post! I like to photograph pink and red.
Thank you for your comments, everyone! It seems I’m not alone in my love for warm reds and oranges…
Jules – I think he was just selling teeth/dentures. I’m not sure if I would trust him as my dentist!
