Making Friends In Bhaktapur, Nepal
It’s probably the best thing about travelling: meeting people. This group that I spent about an hour chatting with and laughing with in the beautiful city of Bhaktapur were some of the loveliest and warmest people I met while I was on the road in Asia, and this is one of my favourite memories of Nepal.
For all the hassle travel can bring, all the late buses and pushy salespeople and overcooked (or undercooked) food and sleepless nights, times like this, when you’re sitting in a little alleyway in Nepal smiling from ear to ear with a group of locals, times like this make it all worth it.
