Osaka, Japan
Nihon-ni daisuki desu! = I love Japan!
It’s bewildering that I don’t carry my camera everywhere I go. This country is full of so many wonders, so many precious moments, so many overwhelming sights and sounds. Lately, because I’m starting to think of life after Japan, I’ve been thinking a lot about reverse culture shock. I just know I’m going to pay the cashier at 7-11 and bow, I just know I’ll say “sumimasen” to someone on the train.
Wherever I go or wherever I live, Japan will stay with me. How could it not? Two years and I am still in awe of it all, I am still struggling with it all, I am still in love with it all.
