Jaisalmer, India
These are days of camel rides, of wandering through historic forts, of shopping for silver bangles and beaded tapestries and leather shoes and genie pants and cardamom, of spending time with the local people, of eating vegetable pakora and drinking masala chai, of learning (and learning), of making new friends, of music under the stars, of jumping on a bus to Jodhpur, of finally fulfilling my dream of coming to India, of realising how much better India is than that dream.
Still such limited time online, and for that I apologise. Off to Udaipur next!

I received your post card yesterday and was just thrilled! It was such a lovely surprise. I do wish I could send you one but I suppose with your being so transient that wouldn’t be possible. Continue having wonderful travels for all us bloggers to be jealous of!
Thank you so much for your nice comments, everyone! I will upload photos whenever I get the chance, although the chances are really few and far between.
Emily, I’m so glad the postcard arrived, and I hope that others start to arrive soon, too!
Oh and Kerri…you know all I really wish for in this life is you by my side. xxxx
Wow, you are so pretty in that last photo! I am jealous of your travels!
Thanks, Oneika! xo
The last photo is so good! I can’t wait to go to India, it’s so visually stimulating. We’ll probably need to take an extra few memory cards.
Thanks Mina! I’m sure you will love India; I certainly do. I’ve taken well over 2000 photos in two weeks!
