Two Days in Huanchaco

by Brenna Holeman

Huanchaco, Peru
It’s a place where reed boats line the beach, where the sun sets like a ball of fire, where the beer flows freely and the plates of ceviche are piled high, where even the kittens do little more than sleep. Huanchaco was the perfect place for us to stop for a few days in between Mancora and Lima, which is an 18-hour bus journey otherwise. We’ve spent the past two days sitting by the water and talking with surfers, drinking sweet lattes and watching the waves; and what more could we possibly want to do in a place like this? It’s a place to relax, Huanchaco.

It’s rainy here in Paris, I’m back to uni(which I don’t like), and my favourite season just ended. I haven’t travelled in over a month.
This posts makes me feel much better!
