The first time you mentioned this place, I looked it up on a map. It seemed SO tiny amidst the huge land mass of South America and just a speck on the edge of Brazil – it’s really incredible to think of so many people you met throughout your trip converging on that one place at that one time. Kismet. And very beautiful! How lucky you were to get a moment alone!
I’m so sad, my internet connection is too slow to watch this video…but I LOVED Iguazu and I’m so happy you were able to visit right before you left!
So nice that you found a quiet place at Iguazu. I get your desire to experience it alone… I sometimes find that I take more in when I have the opportunity to be quiet and surrounded with silence in a monumental place. I equally enjoy the story about encountering all the travelers you met before. That kind of experience is bread and butter for the solo traveler and I always tell people about experiences like that when they question my solo travel!
Katie – It is tiny, yes, but almost everyone I met who had visited either Argentina or Brazil went there! I really enjoyed my time there…
Andi – I hate those slow connections while travelling! I’m glad I got to visit, too…
Girlunstoppable – Thank you for your nice comment! I agree – solo travel holds so many unique experiences…
